ELO compete for the Trophy for smaller clubs. Runners score points for the club by completing a suitable course and it pays to have runners spread across as many of the available courses as possible.
In the 2017 event at Tentsmuir ELO managed to have a full complement of scoring runners and achieved a creditable overall result of 6th out of the 13 eligible clubs.
To be a counting runner this year you need to enter online by the deadline of 1st March. It doesn’t matter too much which course you enter as that can be tweaked later if we need to spread our efforts more thinly – and if you are willing to run a longer course than usual. You don’t need to be an elite orienteer to score valuable points towards the club total!
