Club Events - we organise around six to eight local Club Events
per year. Although primarily designed as informal events for our members,
newcomers to orienteering and members of other clubs are always welcome.
Numbers of competitors at these events range from 20 to 80. The mass start
of our 1995 Festive Frolic, a fun event, is shown below.

South of Scotland Orienteering League (SOSOL) - each year
we plan and organise one of the nine SOSOL Events. These are large
colour coded events with anything from 100 to 250 competitors.
|
|
Badge & Championship Events - along with the other Scottish
Clubs we take our turn to organise events in the Scottish Orienteering League (SOL)
series and the national championships. The SOLs can
attract up to 500 competitors and are held in some of Scotland's
prime orienteering areas.

Scottish Six Day Event - tens of thousands of people from
around the world have enjoyed the biannual Scottish Six Days, a
week long festival of orienteering which is held on the highest
quality terrain in some of Scotland's most scenic areas. This summer
we were among the clubs organising Moray 2003 - reckoned to be one
of the best ever! We are looking forward to 2005 in Deeside
