Club members meet for a barbeque

The two main social events in the calendar are the annual barbecue in the summer and a meal out in the winter. The barbeque is held in conjunction with an orienteering event, often in June, and the meal out usually follows the “Festive Frolic” fun event that we hold between Christmas and New Year.

In addition, some larger orienteering events give club members the opportunity to meet up and socialise. At relay events such as the Scottish Relays the club tent is used as a hub for all the club’s teams. At the Scottish 6 Days, members spend time together at the events and often camp at the same site. We try to have a meal together at least once during the 6 day week.
