Orienteering in the dark can be a great way to practice your navigation skills and raw speed is much less important. The series of events that Edinburgh University put on are a good way to sample it or to try to improve.
The third event in the series left the streets behind to venture onto the Braids. The courses took us over the fairways and rough of the golf courses (and hopefully not into the bunkers and definitely not onto the greens). Robin had a good run, finishing 4th, but Sheila’s four legged friend proved a bit of a handicap. Results
