Easter Event — Saturday 11th April at Yellowcraig, near Dirleton, North Berwick

There was a good turnout for our Easter event by the sea at Yellowcraig, with a wide spectrum of participants, from experienced runners to first-timers.  Despite the odd squall and a shower of hail (!), the weather held up better than had been forecast.

Tim, relatively new to planning, was pleased (not to say relieved) that the courses appeared to go down well, and was grateful for the feedback of all sorts that came back.

Thanks to Sheila for keeping things together; to Robin for managing the (slightly misbehaving) IT almost single-handed; to Julian for implementing many changes to the map in the previous weeks; to everyone that helped with the tent, put controls out, or stayed to collect them in; to the ESOA Junior training team; and perhaps most of all, to everyone who came along to run!

You can see the results, sliced and diced in various ways (again thanks to Robin), here.

Next event: likely to be the first of our Wednesday Evening Park Series, on Wednesday 29th April at Prestongrange Museum/Morrison’s Haven.
