29th October

The weather was kind and the courses were popular. Considering the rival attraction of the Junior Inter-Areas and final SOL up north we had a good turnout. It was good to see so many ELO members dominating the results in the longest course.

Noah Poole’s cake stall was a welcome surprise at Download. Noah is raising funds for his own Project Trust year in Honduras following his brother Jack’s in Senegal.

Thanks to everyone who came and to the many ELO members and friends who helped on the day – and to Sheila and Robin Strain for planning the courses and setting up the SI computers in advance.

Our next event will be at Butterdean Wood on Saturday 29th October.

Courses available will include White / Yellow / Orange /something Greenish.

Register between 1pm and 2:45pm in the play park in Gladsmuir village (NT458732, EH33 1ED) then walk a few hundred metres down the road to the wood.butterdean_tent There is almost no parking at the wood, and we are asked to leave what there is for the regular users.

You can download and complete the registration form and bring it with you.
